An accidental explosion on Friday, November 14, night ripped through the Nowgam police station in Srinagar killing nine people and injuring 27 others.
The 270-km Jammu-Srinagar highway reopened on Sunday after a day-long closure due to heavy snowfall, allowing stranded vehicles to proceed to their destinations.
